This book is based on the phenomenological exegesis of sections of the Qur’an
in relation to morality, ethics, economy, market, and social order for the good
things of life. Such a comprehensive study of interrelationship between the
monotheistic law arising from the Qur’an and the sunnah (Prophetic teachings)
as primal ontology, and the embedded morality and ethics of the emergent social
choices, gives the phenomenological perspective underlying the essential epistemic
methodology of Islamic economics.
In this book, special focus is placed on the universal interrelationship between
morality, ethics, and materiality of diverse systems. It critically evaluates the state of the
present days’ studies; and alternatively formalizes the pronounced phenomenological
perspective to erect the Islamic methodological worldview. This is especially focused
on the development of the theory and application of Islamic economics in terms of
its phenomenological perspectives.
