University of Malaya, the oldest university in Malaysia celebrated 111 years of education in 2016. There is no better story to symbolise the wisdom and sagacity of education over physical prowess than the Malay fable of the Mousedeer and the Crocodiles!

This anthology illustrates the humorous Malay narrative with a picturesque series of 111 languages. Oral origins guided the translators into an exciting expression within their own different cultures.
