REKA: The Best of Architecture Students Work

Inside this book is a brief insight to the outcome of the rigorous fourteen weeks of architecture design studio in University of Malaya. Every semester, students undergo their final assessment which includes many sketches, drawings, models and verbal presentations put together for a panel of external examiners to provide constructive feedback, argument, ideas, reflections, comments and insights on the entire semester’s work.

Works are composed and curated in a simplified manner to provide the reader a glance of the thinking and the design process of an architecture school. We hope some of the exceptional works presented here can trigger meaningful dialogues of what architecture in the 21st century should be like.
